Marty Schwartz - Best Online Guitar Teacher

Marty Schwartz - Best Online Guitar Teacher
I've been really busy over the last couple of weeks with my stuff, you know school, and never really had much time to do any blogging, Youtubing or to watch the Daily Show. - yes I watch Daily Show and occasionally the following act, Colbert's Report.

One of my favorite Youtube channels, besides MetallicaTV, is GuitarJamzDotCom - run by none other than the guitar-freak Marty Schwartz. When I first stumbled upon his channel last year, I spent a good two to three hours browsing around his material, and they were pretty good. He's got tutorials on Led Zeppelin, Stones, Gun N' Roses, Metallica and much much more. I'm going to say with a fear of contradiction that he's the BEST guitar player on Youtube, who just doesn't play the stuff but takes time to teach. He breaks down complex solos and riff just enough for even a beginner to understand.

Speaking of beginners, he's got some tutorials on his website that are exclusives dedicated for beginners. All you have to do is go there and subscribe to his email list. I'd in fact recommend this apporach if you want to learn how to play the guitar before watching his Youtube tutorials on how play Stairway to Heaven.

So in short, I just say this much: Marty Schwartz is the person to be looking for if you want to "quickly" master the tricky art of playing the electric guitar. No, you won't be the next Jeff Beck, Jimi Hendrix, or Jimmy Page. ( Wonder why all of them have first names starting with letter J? ). But you'll learn enough to impress your friends at a birthday party, or better yet, win the high school talent show.
